Our very first event, Pakistani Chai Chats, marked the beginning of PSA at Boston College. Hosted in collaboration with the Muslim Student Association, this casual yet meaningful gathering brought over 80 students together for an evening of warm chai, open conversation, and cultural connection. What started as a simple idea quickly became a packed room full of laughter, storytelling, and shared pride.
This event confirmed something we already felt, that there was a vibrant Pakistani presence at BC, just waiting to be seen. This was the start of a new space for community, culture, and belonging.
On September 14, 2025, we held a barbeque at the Mods in collaboration with SASA, TCO, and PSBC. We had a wonderful turnout and built a great sense of community among the other Asian clubs.
Our first general meeting of the year brought together a strong turnout from the community. With food from Dave’s Hot Chicken, we introduced the new board and shared our vision for the year, highlighting upcoming events and setting the foundation for everything PSA would build together.
For our second Chai Chats, we expanded the experience by adding a game night featuring carrom and ludo. Members enjoyed chai, connected with one another, and engaged in traditional Pakistani board games in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
In collaboration with Boston College, Northeastern, UMass Boston, and Boston University, PSA hosted its first large-scale interschool event. Qawwali Night brought together students from across campuses for an evening of culture, music, and community.
Partnering with the Muslim Student Association, we hosted a community iftar featuring Peshawari kababs and traditional dishes. The event created a meaningful space to break fast together and strengthen connections during Ramadan.
To close out Ramadan, PSA organized a late-night sehri run to IHOP. It was a simple but memorable way for members to come together, share a meal, and end the month on a strong note.
A smaller, more intimate event, Girls Mehndi Night gave attendees the chance to celebrate culture through henna, conversation, and community in a comfortable setting.
